Requiem

A former colleague is dead and his death is ridiculous and everything tragic.

Sometimes I don’t get it… We are given life and, whatever we do with it or whether we do something about it or not, in the end and for every reason we die. That’s all there is to it. For all its simplicity, sometimes I find it so tragically funny and senseless….

Lord have mercy. Please will it so that the pain of losing someone be a pain that is to be overcome by a deeper hope of life with all its remaining possibilities and miracles, and the joy of an eventual reunion with those that have been lost and with You. All in your loving grace...., Amen.
kaigachi is a conjugation of the Japanese term "kigaicha" or crazy. It roughly translates as "crazy about something."

"One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light but by making the darkness conscious." - C.Jung
