Life’s True Value

Short as life is, we make it still shorter by the careless waste of time. Some people spend half their lives complaining about the shortness of life’s span and the other half killing time.

The secret of life is not just to live but to have something to live for. We live only once but if we live right, once is enough.

Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think back, you’ll be able to enjoy it a second time. Then you can say that it’s good to live, even at the worst.

The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it. Remember that you should live your life while you still have it. Life is a splendid gift, there is nothing small about it.

"One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light but by making the darkness conscious." - C.Jung
