A September Sky

September 3, 2008

These are just moments when all I can do is be thankful for the gift of life and eyesight. I am always humbled by such beauty. It never fails to make me feel grateful for being able to see and enjoy such precious moments. If only people would take the time to notice, they'd know why every sunset and sunrise is very precious. It's not only because they mark the passing of time. It is also because each one is unique. When we fail to look up and marvel at the sky each morning and each twilight, we've already missed two opportunities of a lifetime that we can never have back. Take time to appreciate God's everyday masterpiece on display especially for us. All it takes is a single upward glance.
kaigachi is a conjugation of the Japanese term "kigaicha" or crazy. It roughly translates as "crazy about something."

"One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light but by making the darkness conscious." - C.Jung
