Repainting EDSA

I have noticed it within the last month. EDSA is being repainted with becoming shades of green. From the not-to-be-missed pink and blue colors of former MMDA chair and now vice-presidentiable Bayani Fernando, EDSA is being repainted in dark and mint green - Gibo colors according to one of my officemates.

I like the new colors but personally, I think the somewhat annoying and non-standard pink and blue are more effective because they make the barriers and the foot bridges stand out against the concrete, making them hard to miss even in the evenings.  Also, I find the current repainting to be a waste of money, what with all the tax collectibles that the MMDA still owes the BIR. They  should have waited until all the pink and blue items in EDSA have worn off and needed repainting before replacing the BF colors, and shoud have  instead prioritized paying off their unremitted taxes. Gobyerno natin talaga... tsk! tsk!
kaigachi is a conjugation of the Japanese term "kigaicha" or crazy. It roughly translates as "crazy about something."
